Sneeze Sends Driver into Franklin County Irrigation Canal
They end up crashing. But this is a first.
Franklin County Deputies are glad to report all occupants are OK, but probably feeling rather embarrassed, but really lucky to be unhurt.
Saturday afternoon, around 12:40PM, Deputies were dispatched to the main irrigation feeder canal near Sagehill and Fern Roads. Upon arrival, they found this SUV submerged in the water.

It seems the driver told Deputies they d had a really bad sneeze, and lost control. The SUV went off the road, hit 2 small apple trees, then a pole and a water pipe, then just missed a light pole and ended up in the canal.
New Turkey – Caspian Service via Russian Rivers
P&O Maritime Logistics is launching a new inland river route between Caspian ports and DP World Yarimca. The trial voyage was made at the end of last month, the company said.
The new shipping route, called the Turkey – Caspian line, to be jointly launched by P&O Maritime Logistics with the support of DP World Yarimca and several other DP World group companies, will connect Turkey to the Central Asia on a regular basis.
P&O Maritime Logistics expects that the Turkey – Caspian line provides speed and cost advantages, while also reducing carbon emissions by 17% compared to road-based transportation. Efficient door to door delivery will be offered through select third-party logistics partnerships for onward carriage into the landlocked areas of Central Asia.

Real Grace digs deep to win the G3 Canadian Derby
The Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society (Alberta Division) hosted the 47th Annual Alberta Thoroughbred Awards in a virtual format on May 20th, 2021, led by Horse of the Year Real Grace.
Real Grace, a Mineshaft gelding, won two of nine starts in 2020, highlighted by an 18-1 upset victory in the Grade 3 Canadian Derby at Century Mile. Earlier in the season, he also won the Derby Trial Stakes at Assiniboia Downs.
The gelding started his 2020 campaign at Tampa Bay Downs after selling as a unraced racing-age prospect at the Ocala Breeders Sales Co. Winter Mixed Sale in January. He raced twice in Florida, including a second-place effort in a maiden special weight for owner and trainer Bernell Rhone. He then shipped north to Canterbury Park for another second-place effort, this time with additional owners Shelley Brown, Jean McEwan, and Bette Holtman.
